Please note, these LED bulbs are not CAN-Bus proof. This means the bulb may trigger a defective bulb warning on the dashboard. This mainly applies to newer car models; trucks are often excluded from this. Additional lights like spotlights, clearance lights, or skylights are also excluded from the CAN-Bus system.

Why doesn’t this BA15S LED bulb have an E-Mark?:

Replacement bulbs must comply with European standards regarding safety, waterproofing, and short-circuit prevention (ECE-R37). These standards are based on the incandescent and halogen bulbs of the past. LED replacement bulbs cannot meet these standards. The reason is because they don’t contain a filament. Therefore, this LED bulb does not receive the ECE R37 certification and may not officially be used on public roads. You can use the BA15S LED bulb red on, for example, your own property or in racing.
