Please note, these LED lamps are not CAN-Bus proof. This means that this lamp can generate a message of a defective lamp on the dashboard. Why doesn't this BA15S LED lamp have an E-mark?

Replacement bulbs must meet European standards regarding safety, water tightness and prevention of short circuits (ECE-R37). These standards are based on the old incandescent and halogen bulbs. LED replacement bulbs cannot meet these standards. The reason is because there is no filament in it. As a result, this LED bulb does not receive the ECE R37 quality mark and may therefore not officially be used on public roads. You may use the BA15S LED bulb red on your own property or in racing, for example.
